Water – an effective medicine
Take Hippokrates, Paracelsus or Hildegard von Bingen:
drinking plenty of water has always been one of
the first prescriptions given by a good doctor.

Considering that two thirds of our bodies consist of
water and that the body cannot store it, this advice
makes good sense: our body needs a lot of water each
day to catabolize nutrients and vitamins and it needs
water to detach and discard the waste products.

Water shortage in the body
With too little water available, nutrients struggle to
find their way to organs and cells, which leads to a
permanent sensation of hunger. A water shortage also
influences the acid-base balance in a negative way.
Acid degradation products deposit in the connective
tissue if there is not enough water for the body to
clear out these small crystals.
In Dr. Gottwalt Hasso’s opinion, this is the basis for
many “booboos” and causes most of the serious and
threatening diseases respectively.
With some people it can lead to allergies, arthrosis,
high blood pressure or even Alzheimer. Also the risk
of heart attacks or strokes can rise if the body is
burdened with waste products.
Drinking a lot of good water regularly is the best precaution
and a very effective support during healing
processes.

No alternatives to water.
According to recent surveys more than half of our
population suffers from dehydration (water shortage).
Among women as much as 60 percent chronically
drink too little water. The problem is, that many people
do actually drink the right amount of liquid, but
the wrong substances: too much coffee, tea, fruit
juice, milk, beer or sugar drinks and too little pure
water. Thirst is quenched by water, not by comestibles.
Lack of thirst
Especially women and elderly people have a limited sensation of thirst. Some
people simply forget to drink. Cardiovascular complaints, head aches, indigestion
and dry, wrinkled skin can be the result as the cell tissue compresses, yielding
“stress” to the blood flow as well.

We regard drinking plenty of
water as the best health care
and as a highly effective antiaging
appliance. Best would be,
you start with a big mug of lukewarm
water in the morning and
drink - even when you don’t feel
thirsty – at least two litres of
water a day !
